Epic Note Templates - Various specialist services in our hospital have their unique formats with colors, different tables to display information, etc. Literally anything would be greatly appreciate 🫶🏻🥺 Most epic builds also have note writer which allows you to build custom exam templates. For example i have one for uri exam and abdominal pain that documents a normal exam and then i can edit any positives, negatives or delete things i didn't actually do. Having your reference materials easily available directly in epic makes it very convenient and you never have to worry about where that information is stored. All the fun is in making your own templates!

I have smartphrase templates for soap notes, admit h&ps, some specialty things like ob or neonatal h&ps, as well as some smartphrases that fill in stuff for the plan like diabetes care or chf care etc. I would greatly appreciate any epic dot phrases/ cheat sheets. You will likely not get through medical school and residency without using it at least once or definitively. Reference smartphrases can be viewed by others (just teach them how to open a different user's smartphrases).

Most Emrs, Such As Epic, Have A Separate History Section Or Tab Which Can Store An Ongoing Record Of The Patients Medical, Surgical, Social, Etc Histories.
